The Bayliss Foundation transfers administration of the Bayliss Scholarship to the Broadcast Education Association. From their Press Release:
The Foundation will transfer the administration of its scholarship program and funding to a third-party organization specializing in educational scholarships, which will be identified and announced in the near future. The Board of Directors will appoint a liaison committee to work with this organization and will continue operating under this new structure until industry conditions permit a return to a self-governing independent entity.
Look for more information soon at either the BEA Home or the Bayliss Website.

LOOKING FOR PANEL PARTICIPANTS FOR BEA CONFERENCE
I am looking for at least one more panelist for an approved panel for the 2011 conference. The panel is – Radio and Audio Documentary in the Era of This American Life.
We are hoping to discuss the changing nature of radio/audio documentary and how to teach this aesthetic to students.
Please feel free to contact me at dberner@colum.edu or 312-369-8159. I am looking for teachers and producers who are helping to reshape how audio documentary is fashioned, and what this means for the future of audio documentarians.
